VITEEE 2012

Counselling Procedure

The counselling for allocation of branches to the shortlisted candidates is based on their All India Ranks (AIR) in the VITEEE-2012.

The intimation regarding counselling dates will be displayed in VIT website and also SMS will be sent to the qualified candidates after declaration of results.

The fact that a candidate has qualified in the VITEEE-2012 and has been called for and the counselling does not guarantee admission to him / her. This will depend upon the candidates All India Rank (AIR) in the entrance examination and the availability of seats.

Details of various branches offered under the B.Tech. programme in the current year, the total number of seats allocated for each branch, the number of seats already allotted, number of seats still available will be displayed at the counselling centre.

VIT will,  in no way be responsible for counselling information not reaching the candidates. They should check the VIT website: www.vit.ac.in for information on counselling.

No change of date / time of counselling is permissible.

The selected candidates will have to submit a DD for  30,000/- in favour of ‘VIT University’, payble at Vellore

• Admission Procedure

• The admission will be purely on the basis of the marks secured in the VITEEE-2012, conducted by VIT University.
• Candidates who have not appeared for the VITEEE are not eligible for admission.
• The candidates will be short-listed based on their entrance examination marks and will be called for the counselling
• • We do not accept cash. We collect fees only in the form of Demand Draft.
  • We do not have any agents
  • If any one demands any cash, Please report it to vigilance@vit.ac.in to enable us to take legal action.

Tuition Fee (Per Annum)	89,000 *

* after concession One time payment of Admission fee 10,000 and caution deposit (refundable) 3000 will be extra

VITEEE CUTOFFS

A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the VITEEE – 2012.

• There is no provision to send the marks of the candidates (selected or unselected) by post.
• At the time of publication of the results, the rank will be intimated through SMS, if the mobile number of the applicant is provided.
• There is no provision for re-grading and re-totalling.
• No photocopies of the answer sheets will be made available.
• No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
